Dear Parents and Students,
Each year, a student-led group called, "Jazzy Jingles", chooses one day to sing carols around the community. This year, Callie VanHootegem has made arrangements with the Elm's nursing home, the hospital and the Salvation Army (belling ring). Since this is a student led group, I told Callie that I would send the information to my email distribution lists. If you are interested, please realize that the students use their own transportation to go from place to place and that students can sing for the whole day or part of the day. This is a great opportunity for those students who need to gain some service hours for National Honors Society, church groups, etc. Below is the itinerary for the day. Please dress warmly and in holiday colors. If you have any questions, you can contact Callie at: 309-313-2223.
Thank you!

Parents,
Just a reminder that pick up for the poinsettias is from 2:00 – 5:00 pm in the high school auditorium foyer. Please bring bags to cover your plants so that they don't freeze. Also, if you are unable to pick up your plants, please arrange for someone else to pick them up as we have nowhere to store them. J
Thanks!

Dear Parents and Faculty,
Attached is the lesson schedule for next week. It is for all 8th grade choir and band choir and 7th grade choir only. The 7th grade band choir students will have lessons on November 23 and 24th and they will get their schedules next week. These lessons will be "sing off" lessons where students will need to sing their part for a grade in groups of three. If your child can't attend a lesson due to academic work or illness from school, they do need to reschedule because it is a test grade. They can come to another lesson group or reschedule with me. I can also listen to students at lunch or before/after school.
Thanks for your help reminding the students to do this!
